Mommy Brain Reports on- Juice Pal
I have had these Juice Pals in my cabinet for a while now, and I absolutely love them! These things have saved my carpet so many times, I’ve lost count!
The Leaps & Bounds website says:
It’s the only one that fits ALL size boxes and pouches — and is insulated to keep drinks cold! Instead of squeezing their juice box (and spraying sticky drinks everywhere), kids hold onto our Juice Pal’s soft-grip handles. For ages 18 months and up.
It’s the honest truth! My girls would squeeze just about any juice container they were given, both boxes and pouches. I didn’t know what to do besides keep taking them away while they weren’t drinking them, and that was just hard to keep up with. When I was shopping around for a solution, I came across the Juice Pal on Leaps and Bounds, and thought I had to try it.
When they arrived at my home, and I opened the box, the girls, of course, wanted to use them right away. I washed them up and dropped a couple of juice pouches in the Juice Pals, and they were loving it! The handles were awesome! They told me they didn’t feel like they were going to drop it anymore.. which was awesome.. They weren’t spraying juice everywhere, which saved me a lot of work and carpet/upholstery cleaner!
I highly recommend getting the Juice Pal!!! At only $3.95, the price is well worth the sanity it will save you!

Mommy Brain Reports on- Twice the Love
I was contacted by Susan Heim, the owner of a really cool website called TwinsTalk to do a review of a couple of her books, and a giveaway as well!
The first book that I chose to read was Twice the Love, Stories of Inspiration for Families… with Twins, Multiples, and Singletons. I picked it up around 11pm one evening when I could not get to sleep. Well, this book didn’t help any! I got so caught up in all of the wonderful stories from parents, brothers, aunts, and other family members, about “their” twins. Some of these stories just made me laugh, and others I sat nodding my head in agreement. I felt as if some of these people had a camera into my house.
Some parents wrote about how mischievous their twins are, working together and plotting to make some sort of trouble for Mommy or Daddy. I know all too well how that works. There were also stories about how connected twins can be as far as one feeling what the other is, and even a few of one twin saving their sibling’s life! It’s just amazing!
I spent all of my “free time”, which isn’t much with my 3 year old twins, reading this book! I could not put it down! I even took it with me to the gym so I could read it while I was on the treadmill or elliptical machine. I’m sure everyone around me thought I was a weirdo reading a book, listening to my iPod, pretty much in tears over some of these stories, and just laughing out loud at other stories, but you know what? I don’t care! The stories in this book are truly inspirational, and they also let me know that I’m not alone in my experiences with my girls! I am so glad that I had the chance to read this book!
If you have twins, are a twin, or even know a set of twins.. this book is an absolute MUST READ! You can get your very own copy from our Reviews Store, or directly from TwinsTalk! You can also save 15% off the cover price and get Twice the Love, Stories of Inspiration for Families… with Twins, Multiples and Singletons AND It’s Twins! Parent-to-Parent Advice from Infancy Through Adolescence from TwinsTalk for only $20.30! Defintely a great set of books to have. Mommy Brain Reports on- Tupperware Modular Mates
Claire send me a Tupperware Modular Mates Set to check out for a review, and let me tell you… It’s pretty cool! I’ve never owned a piece of Tupperware before. I had always just purchased the ziploc or whatever cheapo containers you get at the grocery store for storing all of our food, or used the chip clips to close off bags of things. I think that may change over time now.
The modular mates that I was sent were a little small for what I was hoping to use them for, but no worries, I was definitely able to put them to good use. I tried these things with all kinds of things and they held up!
I put smaller amounts of pasta in them, rather than folding and taping the bag over. I put flour, or sugar in them, and they were fine. I had one of my girls “accidentally” drop one of them while she was looking for a snack, and it didn’t come open even just a little bit. I was surprised. Another thing I really love, is how they stack up so neatly in the pantry, and really save a lot of space! I think that right there is a big plus for the modular mates!
Just for the heck of it, I decided to try some liquid in these containers to see how the seal was. I started with some pomegranate jam. I poured in about a cup into the smallest container, shook it up and turned it upside down. Nothing came out at all. I figured, the thicker consistency wouldn’t come out, so I moved on to plain water. I did the same thing with the water, and again, none spilled out. Now if this can hold in water, I can imagine that the food kept inside will definitely be kept fresher than if I just put it in a zipper bag. That would definitely help keep things longer, and reduce the amount of wasted food, resulting in less spending on groceries.. and everyone likes to save money!
Looking around Claire’s website, I’ve found so many things that I’d love to get now. From the Refrigerator Beverage Dispenser to the Modular Mates Super Pantry Set, and the Cereal Storer to the Marinade Set.. I would love to someday get one of everything!
Make sure you check out Claire’s webstore, and take a look around at everything! You will get hooked! I promise!
Her flat-out set giveaway runs until Sept 1! Don’t forget to enter!! You just might get that very essential piece of Tupperware for FREE!
