A “taste” of things to come
I am very excited to announce a new campaign that I’m going to be working on. Over the months of April & May, myself and 7 other bloggers will be hosting Ice Cream parties & giveaways sponsored by Lovin’ Scoopful, a socio-friendly product whose goal it is to create as many smiles as possible. Their mission is to donate 25% of their profits ($50,000 minimum annually) to Special Olympics.
To learn more about Lovin’ Scoopful, please go to their main site at http://www.lovinscoopful.com. If you just can’t wait to try their ice cream, find a store near you that currently sells it! If it’s not in your area yet, check back often! Lovin’ Scoopful is making it’s way across the country to retailers near you soon! If you’d like, you can even fill out this product request form to try to get it to your stores even faster! Tell your friends and family to fill one out too! The more people that fill one out, the more they’ll see your town!!! Oh! And to stay in touch with the latest Lovin’ Scoopful news, fan them on facebook too!
Review: Alvin and the Chipmunks The Squeakuel Soundtrack
As part of the WB Word of Mouth Team, my family was recently given a chance to listen to the new Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel soundtrack, and I have to say it’s pretty good! As soon as the package arrived in the mail, I opened up the CD and popped it into my computer. I told the girls to come into the room and listen up… The music started playing, and they smiled so big…. What happened next was inevitable… They started dancing all over the room. It was so funny. Of course, I had to get up and dance with them. It has great songs like “You Really Got Me” and “Stayin Alive”… and of course “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” except all of the songs are sung by The Chipmunks and The Chipettes.
We haven’t seen the movie yet, but we’re very excited to run out and buy it on Tuesday! In the meanwhile, we’re going to keep on rockin’ out to the songs on the soundtrack!!!
I really think this would be a great CD to add to any kids’ collection! You order a copy of it now through Amazon or get it right away through iTunes!

If you’ve been following my blog, my twitter or my facebook, you’ll know that I’ve tried a few fitness programs over the past year or so, and when I was offered the chance to try the Your Shape Featuring Jenny McCarthy fitness program for the Wii, and couldn’t resist. The idea of something using a camera to track my movements intrigued me, and when the package arrived, I was very excited.
Setup of the camera was very easy. It just plugged into the back of the Wii console, and set up on top of my TV. I popped the CD into the console, and off I went. I set up my exercise mat and was just super excited to figure everything out.
I started out with setting up my profile! I entered my name, and if you want to, you can enter in a password. Then it asks for what type of measuring system I wanted to use (Metric/Imperial) That’s a pretty neat feature that helps make it usable for many people. Then it asks for Height and um.. Weight… HAHA… It gives you time to adjust your camera so that you can be seen fully in the window, and set ups a Body Scan to make a digital representation of you. You can then set up areas of your body that you really want to focus on and how you want to focus in it. The program then sets up a physical challenge to see where you are physically. This is where it had trouble for me. Read the rest of this entry »
