BHG Wax Warmers now at Walmart

I don’t use spray air fresheners very often in my house, and sometimes the ones you plug in to your power outlets just don’t seem to last as long as they advertise them to. Candles are just to hazardous, causing many fires, especially closer to the holidays. Smell good things are, I think, the perfect finishing touch to a clean home. I mean, who doesn’t want the house to smell great, especially if guests come by, or you just want to relax?

So the latest thing in *air fresheners* is the flameless wax warmers. These are cute little ceramic “jars” with a dish on top and a light bulb inside. Place a couple of scented wax cubes in the dish, and turn it on. The light bulb heats up, melting the wax. They are much safer than burning scented candles. There are several brands out there that you can buy, but you have to attend a home party, or order online, and they are somewhat pricey. I once had one that cost me $35, and after a couple of months, my daughter accidentally broke it. I never replaced it because I couldn’t justify spending the money.

Well, there’s a new product available at Walmart from Better Homes & Gardens and I’m very excited to share the news!

I was actually sent a couple of these wax warmers, and some of their scented wax cubes to check out, and I’m loving them! Here’s the good news! You can get the Better Homes and Gardens wax warmers at your local Walmart for just $15. That’s over half the price of the other brands! They come in a variety of styles and colors. There’s something to fit just about everyone’s taste! Walmart also sells the scented wax cubes for only $2 per package, also less than half the price of other brands!

I’ve set one of the wax warmers up on the mantle in my family room, and absolutely love it. I’ve had fun trying out the different scents, and surprising my girls with them when they get home from school. I ended up sending one of my wax warmers to my mom in California, since she hadn’t heard of these yet. I let my girls pick out some of the wax scents for her, and some for us at the store. I really can’t wait to start up with the pine scent around Christmas time! I might just have to pick up a couple more warmers for different rooms in our house!
