Bissell Little Green Steam Machine

When my husband gave me a Bissell Little Green Steam Machine for Christmas, I was actually very excited. I knew that this thing was going to be put to some good use, especially with TWINS! I don’t think I knew the extent of how useful it was going to be until they got a little older though. As babies, I didn’t have much to worry about, but now that they’re toddlers, it feels like I’m constantly cleaning up behind them!

Our home has that really light beige carpet, you know, the standard cheapo carpet that the developers used to get homes built as fast and cost effective as possible. Well, EVERYTHING stains it, so I’m constantly running behind them with my Little Green Steam Machine. I love this thing! It cleans up everything you can think of. Now the mommy in me shines through. It cleans up spit up, puke, “accidents”, juice, popsicle drippings, food, mud, you name it, it will clean it. It cleans it especially well if you catch it right when it happens.

One thing to remember when you are shopping around.. Get the one with PROHEAT! It actually heats up the water! I’ve used machines that say that they’re heated but when I get to using it, you are supposed to put hot water in it, and it supposedly keeps it warm. Not this machine! You put cool water in it, and it actually heats it up for you… and it gets hot, which really seems to help get the stains out. I was pleasantly suprised to see a machine do what the box actually says.

My girls are almost 3 years old now, and we’re still going through the potty training. I’ve followed them around during the day and just kept the solution tank filled with the solution/water mix. It’s saved carpet, and furniture. I honestly think that at the time, this was the best Christmas present he could’ve given me..

I highly recommend it!

Yes, isn’t the Little Green Clean Machine awesome? I bought my first one in 1994. I used it a lot when my son was potty training! The original lasted me a long time, then I bought anotehr one. I’ve used it so many times! My son uses it now also; he details cars for a summer job and uses it to clean the upholstery and carpet! Great review!
