		<description>Monica,
Thanks for making me aware of this! I&#039;m excited to see more resources directed towards what used to be called &quot; The silent killer&quot;. And there&#039;s no standard screening test that women receive to detect ovarian cancer in it&#039;s early stages, and it&#039;s symptoms are easily masked as other things, like gas or indigestion. By the time it&#039;s picked up on, things are often dire.

I saw it for myself this time last year, when my great mother in law was diagnosed with stage three ovarian cancer. We were very fortunate that through surgery and aggressive chemotherapy injected directly into her abdomen (to really wash all those cancer cells) she is now cancer free and on maintenance chemo. She is also a breast cancer survivor (15 years ago) and, like all breast cancer survivors with certain aggressive gene combinations, was FOUR TIMES more likely to get ovarian or uterine cancer. That would have been an awesome thing for a doctor to tell her at some point.

Thanks for helping to bring this to the forefront, and if I win the fridge? Bonus.:)
