National S’mores Day was a couple of days ago, on August 10th, but that doesn’t mean that it’s too late to enjoy some S’mores! It’s never a bad time for S’mores!
I was recently sent a cute little kit from Hershey’s to enjoy, and we couldn’t resist having some fun with them. Rather than do regular ol’ S’mores (even though they are super yummy), we decided to try something a little different.
They are super easy to make! All you need are two small saucepans, chocolate, graham crackers and marshmallows!
First, break your graham crackers along the lines into rectangles.
Melt your marshmallows in one small saucepan. Stir constantly, and do not allow the marshmallow to burn.
Once the marshmallows have melted, dip the graham cracker rectangles into the marshmallows and place on a sheet of non stick parchment or wax paper.
Place the marshmallow dipped crackers in the freezer and allow to cool.
While the marshmallow is cooling, melt your chocolate in the other sauce pan. Stir constantly, and do not allow the chocolate to burn!
Once the chocolate has melted, take the crackers out of the freezer and quickly dip the marshmallow end in the chocolate. Place back on the dish and put them back in the freezer to cool.
