Your nose is running, you are sneezing, and you want to make sure your germs aren’t spreading through the entire family as you get through this cold. Enter the Kleenex Anti-Viral Tissues.

I’ve used these tissues almost exclusively for our colds in the house, and although I have absolutely no personal, clinical proof, Kleenex claims that these tissues actually kill viruses in the tissue.

    Getting my grandkids to cover their mouths when they cough and sneeze it the big thing I’m working on. No fun getting sprayed in the face when they have colds and then I get sick too. Thank you!

    When I’m feeling a little under the weather and feel a cold coming on I take an aspirin and it seems to ward off the cold.

    Another is I have everyone wipe their feet on the mat before entering the house. I heard a lot of germs are carried in on our shoes.

    I wash my hands regularly, use a handkerchief (if a sneeze is too quick, sneeze into your elbow. This covers your mouth without contaminating your hands.)

    The way I battle the bug all year long is constant handwashing!! I’m a little OCD about it lol

    I also take lots of vitamin C, drink juices, and eat onions/garlic-that all helps with colds:)

    i just skimmed the comments..I too use hand sanitizer alot but I hear it just spreads germs around lol

    Lots of handwashing! Lots of oj.
    Good healthy meals and good sleep patterns too.

    All of it really helps a ton.

    My family does not have a problem with the cold/flu. Only on a rare occasion.
