June DIY- Thank You Cards

Jun 25, 2012 Comments Off by Disclosure

Graduations, Birthdays, Weddings.. It’s Summer time, and there’s a lot going on this month! If you’re looking for an easy, simple gift, check out these Thank You Cards… You can make a cute gift for just about anyone with this idea!

Make yourself a custom set of elegant Thank You cards, make someone custom stationery using their initials or even their name. You can also make little designs in the corners, flowers, swirls, you name it… The possibilities are pretty much endless!

Here’s what you will need:

Very simple to make

You can use one of the designs in the template download, or design your own text with any word processing program.

Print off the sheet provided, or if you design your own, print off the sheet, flipping the page horizontally so that it prints in a mirror image.

Make sure the design fits on the card selected, center the image on the back side of the note card securing it with paper clips or small pieces of tape.

Place the card and image on a cutting board, or small stack of old magazines.

Use the T-Pin to evenly  pierce holes along the printed lines, piercing through the image and the note card.

Remove the image and turn the card over revealing the words that you pierced.

To add extra flair, you can also pierce evenly spaced holes along the edge of the envelope flap if you wish.

This is a very simple DIY craft to do for anyone, and it looks very elegant. It’s fun to use your imagination on coming up with designs to use with the pin!

If you decide to do this craft, I’d love to see it! Feel free to post a link in the comments section of this post!
