We got a very cool new toy in the house recently… and it is a Smooshie… What is a Smooshie you ask?? Well…

Smooshies are a fun and easy way to release kids’ creativity! Kids can create anything they can imagine – a friend, a monster, a dog, a robot or an alien from another planet.

Simply choose a body, arms, legs, facial features, or even antennae or wings and attach them wherever you like.  Easy Velcro tabs allow kids to create and recreate unique characters, mixing and matching all the body parts, in an infinite number of ways. When they’re done, they just pull the pieces off and start all over again!

This smooshie arrived in the mail one day, and my girls went crazy! They absolutely LOVED creating their own…um… creature! They’d take turn taking it apart and putting the pieces back haphazardly. It really brought a bunch of giggles. Oddly enough, they didn’t fight over it. They enjoyed seeing what the other was going to create. Ah… what a way to open their imaginations!
