Walmart has your Tailgating Solutions!

Football Season has officially started, and I am so excited! This year is going to be a great football year, no matter which teams are playing! I can’t wait to get some good football parties going! We’re going to need some goodies for them too!

Where do I go? Walmart has everything I need there!

We don’t have any football stadiums near us, but we have our backyard and a big TV! We have our grill, and football team branded gear! I went by my Walmart and checked out what they had in store for me… and well, I found a few really cute shirts! I am already wearing them! Go Steelers! Hee hee.

For those big parties, we’ll be heading over to the Walmart Deli and grabbing their party subs! We ordered a 6ft party sub, complete with Turkey, Ham, Roast Beef, Swiss Cheese, American Cheese, Lettuce, Onions, Tomatos, Mustard and Mayo. All that, and for only $28, and it was DELICIOUS! We just happened to have a neighborhood party last weekend, so we got to share the sandwich with everyone that attended, and they really liked it too!

In case any of you are wondering.. because I was really worried about it… The 6ft party sub doesn’t actually come out on a 6ft long board. The sandwiches are cut into single serving sized pieces and put on round party platters. They fit in a refrigerator! Thank goodness, because I had chosen a pickup time much earlier than our event!

The veggies and condiments also came on the side, which was awesome because that gave us the chance to save any leftovers for lunch the next day! No soggy second day sandwiches!

We are already planning some get togethers for the next weekend, so I better go! I need to make up my shopping list for College Football Saturday! I’ll need to get out my slow cooker, and football themed picnic stuff! I can’t wait!

Let the football season begin!
